Shipibo Expedition
We are offering a no hype, unscripted experience with the Shipibo of the Peruvian Amazon. The Shipibos welcome you to come experience their culture in their home. We will be spending our time in and outside the city of Pucallpa and then travel on the river to a Shipibo village where we will be enveloped in their way of life. Individuals should be prepared for an experience of 'roughing it', our expedition is intended to push individual boundaries in all areas of life. The itinerary is spontaneous in order to provide the best possible experience in the moment. We will be participating in many Ayahuasca rituals. What to bring
You will need to have your passport to enter Peru, no special Visas are needed.
I encourage you to bring extra money for buying artisan goods, and tipping people as you see fit.
LED headlamp, sleeping mat, mosquito net, pants, long sleeved shirts, shorts, bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, hat, camera, film, mosquito repellent, rain jacket.
I suggest natural mosquito repellents like Simmons Skeeter Skatter.
And the greatest mosquito net I have found, the REI Bug Hut 2 Tent.
Costs*
The expedition is $1700 U.S.D.* and begins the moment you arrive at the Pucallpa airport and terminates upon your return flight.
Once you have completed the simple application process and have been accepted, you will need to pay your non-refundable** deposit of $575 in order to secure your space. Contact me for further payment details. Group size is limited so please do not delay.
Your payment includes all lodging, food, transportation (flights to and from Lima), compensation for ceremonies (4) and other little surprises along the way.

**Your deposit is fully refundable in case of cancellation on my part.

Terms and Conditions
Michael Sonn and any respective agents are not to be held liable in case of sickness, injury or death. Come with a relaxed attitude and bear in mind, boats are often late and taxis sometimes don't show, ect...
Participants are expected to abstain from sex, drugs and the consumption of alcohol for the duration of the expedition. Participants are also to conduct themselves with integrity in regards to the environment, locals, guides and group participants.
This contract may be terminated at any time by either party: Participant or Michael Sonn. Participants will receive a pro-rated refund minus their deposit and $300.
